ABM uses standards compliant systems and applications to complete all data erasure and media destruction services to meet the most stringent requirements. These globally accepted standards include DOD 5220.22-M(E) 3-Pass, DOD 5220.22-M(ECE) 7-Pass and NIST 800.88. And because ABM is e-Stewards certified, all recycling processes are carried out following strict guidelines which are approved by the United States' Environmental Protection Agency and regularly audited by the Basal Action Network to ensure ongoing compliance.

In addition, ABM provides a full inventory and audit for all decommissioned IT assets and includes a certificate of erasure or destruction is for all sanitized media, and a chain of custody record for every recycled IT asset. Upon request, these records can be posted to singlePoint, ABM' proprietary cloud-based SaaS application which provides easy access to the information needed for businesses to meet their reporting requirements.
